Personality Sudoku (or Temperament Drift)

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, but I have been posting at my great new job. You should give these a read, as they are exactly the kinds of things I would have posted here.

This first post is called (as the title suggests) Personality Sudoku (or Temperament Drift). Some of you may have heard me talk about this in terms of wearing a mask or drifting.

This will take you to the original post.

What I didn’t mention about this concept is that if you were to run a z-axis through the middle of the graph and labeled it time, you could see the changing drift of the individual over their lifetime. If you were to look at that full graph in 3D, you could see just how unique that object is from others. The finer the slices in time, the more “jagged” and interesting the data.

I don’t know how you’d do this. As I’ve stated, I’m not all that taken by the current assessment tools. I think personality, even where it is more binary, is still highly individual. I have actually found it useful to use Temperament Drift as a way to reverse-find a type, figuring out if someone might be drifting to get to the person that I’m seeing at that moment. As the types around that source type are both a liberating and limiting factor, two drifts will generally indicate the source type.

If you have any thoughts or questions, don’t hesitate to contact me in whatever way we normally communicate. I’m all ears… and other parts.

Enjoy.
